Roblox’s Anime Defenders recently released its latest Update 7 which brings about some new banners, Raids, units, Traits, and many more new changes. For better (or worse), Anime Defenders has expanded its reach with a bunch of new content but has made some seemingly controversial additions.
So today, we’re checking out the latest Anime Defenders Update 7 to check out what’s new, what’s changed, and whether the new Anime Defenders update is truly worth diving back into the anime-inspired tower-defense game in Roblox.

New Banners
One major highlight of Update 7 has to be the new banners. In particular, there’s a new Special Banner and a new Wish Banner so you can cop some new Anime Defenders units. Here’s what you need to know about the two new banners –
Special Banner
The new Special Banner features a 2x Mythic & Secret unit drop rate so you’ve got plenty more chances to get the rarest Anime Defenders units in the game. This Special Banner also includes two new units including:
- New Ancient Unit – Divine Tyrant
- New Secret Unit – Stage Diva
To pull from the new Anime Defenders Special Banner though, you’re going to need ‘Ancient Relics’ but luckily, there are quite a few ways you can get Ancient Relics for example by completing Raids and exchanging Raid Shards, Quests, completing Challenge Mode content, and Nightmare Mode content.
The bad news is Ancient Relics are yet another in-game currency in Anime Defenders which makes it hard to come by if you’re just getting started with the new update.
Updated Wish Banner
Besides the Special Banner, the new Wish Banner has a few units up for grabs in case you’ve been waiting for em’. Here are the units included with the Anime Defenders new update:
- Spectral Warden
- Demonic Servant
- Ice Nightshade
- Nightshade Queen
The New ‘Vampire Castle’ Raid
Another exciting addition with Update 7 is the new Raid, Vampire Castle. Successfully completing the new Raid will award you Raid Shards, which you can then use to unlock the exclusive ‘Secret’ unit, Dracula (Weakened).
It’ll cost you a sweet 4000 Raid Shards but if you’re already grinding the new Raid, might as well cop the new Secret Roblox Anime Defenders unit. The good news is the ‘Dracula’ Secret Unit is a two-stage evolution unit.
You can evolve it from the Dracula (Weakened) version to a Dracula (50%) and further evolve it to Dracula (100%).
The New Divine Trait Crystal
Lastly, we have a new Divine Trait Crystal to buff your units with some staggering stat increases and modifiers. There are a total of 10 new Anime Defenders Traits on the Divine Trait Crystal, including:
- Elemental I – III – DOT Damage Increase
- Warlord – Damage Increase
- Sonic II – Cooldown Decrease
- Tank – Increased damage and cooldown, lowered range
- Precision II – Increased Crit rate/damage
- Requiem II – Increased damage, decreased cooldown, increased range
- Emperor – Increased boss damage, decreased upgrade cost, increased range & crit chance
- Apex – Increased damage, range, and crit chance + decreased cooldown and upgrade cost
We should also note that units that obtain the Emperor or Apex Traits are untradeable.
Roblox Anime Defenders Codes

And that’s pretty much everything you need to know about Update 7 of Roblox’s Anime Defenders. In our opinion, it’s a pretty solid update bringing in new units, some great Traits to upgrade units, and a new raid.
