The world is an incredible place with so much to see and do and this is what makes travelling one of the best things you can do in your free time. When travelling, you can engross yourself in different countries’ cultures, experience different cuisines and discover stunning landscapes – every landscape is so different, from the fjords in Norway to the Beaches in Australia.
When it comes to discovering the world, in 2025, there are so many ways in which you can do so. You could book a walking holiday and see some of the best views and landscapes. You could book a cruise and see the world from the ocean or go on a road trip, where you drive and see multiple destinations in one trip – the possibilities are endless.
To help give you some inspiration and start your journey into seeing the world in 2025, we have put together a guide on three ways you could do so. Keep on reading to learn more and see if one of our suggestions interests you.
Walking Holiday
Have you ever thought of booking a walking holiday before? Trips like a Camino de Santiago allow you to see a myriad of landscapes, explore interesting villages and be active at the same time. Some of the places you will get to see will be unspoilt, as the best way to get there is on foot, meaning you don’t have cars and buses, ruining the wonderful views. The best thing about a walking holiday is that it can be catered to your ability. If you are an active person who enjoys spending a lot of time outside, you could do a moderate walking holiday, whereas, if you are completely new, you could do a beginners one.
Cruise
Cruising has grown in popularity over the years but is still something the majority of people haven’t done – when you do, you’ll want to do another one for sure! When on a cruise, you’ll get to see a few different countries, you’ll get to experience different cultures, and they are very luxurious. One minute you will be sailing to a Caribbean island, then the next, you could be arriving in New York and are going to watch a theatre show.
Road Trip
We are big fans of road trips for many reasons, one of the main reasons being you get to see a few different places in one trip – this could be a different country or a few different areas of your chosen destination. For example, if you are planning on doing a road trip in England, you could start in London (the capital) and then make your way down to Cornwall to see the countryside. Whilst travelling through, you could stop at a few different places such as the Cotswolds or Devon.
